Oil Based Modeling Clay

Modeling clay is made from oily materials, it is also called oily clay. The oil is not volatile at room temperature and it hardly dries out. You can use it repeatedly. Theoretically, the shelf life of oil-based clay is infinite, and it’s nearly impossible for it to go bad.

Oxidation may make the oil base clay harden, but you can heat it with a dryer to soften it again.

Air Dry Lightweight Clay

Air-dry clay is a lightweight clay that contains water in its composition, so it dries at room temperature. In an environment of 25℃, air-drying clay will dry and harden within 24 hours. So, when preserving air-dry clay we seal it to prevent its water from evaporating.

When the air-dry clay hardens, spray some water to revive it. However, if it dries out completely, it will not regain its softness.
